2MHost like most hosting companies says it began its services because they were frustrated with other hosting providers both that lacked quality and pricing of services so they were inspired to create a company to meet industry demand at first 2M Host was a side project that within a couple of months became their main endeavor. They claim to host over 20,000 clients on all 6 major continents, mostly individuals and small companies, they provide 24/7/365 tech support and say that security is a top priority.

They do daily malware scans and 2 weekly backups of all site files, they claim to not upsell you useless features and don’t oversell their resources like many shared hosting companies do, on top of this they offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. They have a Price lock guarantee which means they don’t raise your price for the life you are with them however this is great most hosting services get cheaper as the server’s hardware gets older but I am sure if you ask them they will upgrade when tech gets outdated.

Some other Stats provided by SemRush that might interest you about 2MHost they have 16.2K backlinks from 1.4K different referring domains, They have an Authority Score of 38 which is pretty good, 51% of their organic search traffic comes from The United States while 29% comes from Canada 21% comes from Spain, 0.1% comes out of the UK and 0.1% from other countries. The majority of their search engine traffic comes from the word 2mhost Login second most searched This site has been moved to a new server and the third most searched keyword is Free Domain transfer and renewal.

Some details about the speed of the host, now these may not be the same speeds you’ll get since first it will depend on the services you buy, your website design, size of images/videos, etc.. also the host may or may not be using a faster server to host their hosting sales page at any rate here is the speed information tested on there front page.

GTmetrix – Gives them an A grade with 98% Performance and 87% Structure tested from Vancouver, Canada.

Pingdom – Gives 2mhost a C grade of 79 tested from London, United Kingdom.

Page Speed Insights – Gives their Cell phone page speed a 93 so an A here and a 99 for Desktops.

Dotcom Tools gives the following –

Site Checker – Gives them 42 out of a100 with a load time of 8.88 seconds tested from Tampa, Florida.

2MHost services are from what I can tell only Shared there regular shared services start out at $2.75 a month use SSD disk drives, Free SSL, HTTP/2, Free WHOIS Protection, multiple PHPs up to the most current version, Free PHP X-RAY, Free Imunify360, Domain transfer, they also offer a performance shared hosting which includes Litespeed, LSCache and NVMe on both the regular and performance shared hosting they also have a website site builder script so you can have your site up and running in no time at all.

Above they talk about Free domain transfer I am not sure if they are talking about a domain or a site migration since it doesn’t say if they do free site migrations and I don’t see them offering domain registration services I imagine that this is what they are talking about however you will need to contact them about this just to be sure. I can’t tell from their site where the company is from or how long they have been in business but after doing some digging looks like they opened the doors to 2MHost in 2002 which means they are going on 20 years this year of service which is definitely another plus as they probably won’t be going anywhere soon. They also offer a reseller hosting option using SSD pretty much the same as the shared, pricing starts out at $2.75 for their cheapest plan and goes up from there.

The conclusion looks like a pretty solid company and a decent pricing top of the line software and hardware the only drawback is lack of information on the company itself other than that looks good. if the company contacts me with this information I will update until then that is all for the moment.
